Registered Nurse (RN) - Levine Cancer Non Oncology Infusion
About The Position
Atrium Health Infusion Center - Abbey Place is an outpatient infusion center located in Charlotte, NC. We care for the non-oncology ambulatory infusion patient population seeing various specialties including but not limited to rheumatology, neurology, and gastroenterology. We have 15 infusion chairs open Monday through Friday from 8 am - 5:30 pm. We are committed to providing a compassionate, patient-centered, and evidence-based infusion experience for our patients. Clinical Services Our clinic provides a wide range of infusion therapies, including: Chemotherapy and immunotherapy, Targeted biologic treatments Supportive care infusions (e.g., antiemetics, hydration, antibiotics), Blood product administration, Central line care and maintenance. Our clinic operates Mon-Friday 0730-6pm. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- One year of Nursing experience needed
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency in IV therapy, bone marrow, spinals, thoracenteses, paracenteses and phlebotomy preferred.
- Oncology certification preferred.
