About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery for an exciting job in Brooklyn, NY.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery or Maternal–Child Health experience
- Minimum of 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with conscious sedation
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program
- Active New York State RN License
- Primary Source Verification through NYSED
- AHA BLS certification
- AHA ACLS certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Perform IV insertion, phlebotomy, and medication administration as required
- Assist with and monitor patients undergoing conscious sedation when applicable
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
