About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery to join a high-risk outpatient obstetrics clinic. In this role, you will provide specialized maternal care, perform fetal monitoring, and support high-risk pregnancies while working closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes for both mother and baby.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (State of New York)
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program required
- Minimum 2 years of Maternal and Child Nursing experience
- Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience with conscious sedation
Nice To Haves
- Experience in high-risk OB or similar clinical settings preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform fetal monitoring and assess maternal and fetal well-being
- Deliver nursing care in a high-risk OB outpatient clinic setting
- Assist with labor and delivery-related procedures as needed
- Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses
- Support conscious sedation procedures when required
- Educate patients on prenatal care, procedures, and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams for treatment planning
- Provide guidance and precepting support to junior staff
