Our newly renovated Women's Pavilion features spacious, homelike rooms with private bathrooms for added comfort and privacy. We also have a new Cesarean delivery suite and nursery. The L&D RN under the general supervision of the Director, and according to established policies and procedures, coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, acts as a patient/family advocate, and works with other nursing and ancillary personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice. Work is of a very confidential nature. Performs other duties of the department as required. Requirements
- Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a nursing degree from an accredited program.
- Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
- One year of RN experience in L&D preferred, or other Women's Service area or OR
- NRP required or must be obtained within 12 months from date of hire.
