About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise in maternal and child health and the ability to respond effectively in critical situations.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Maternal & Child Health experience
• Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
• Minimum 2 years of conscious sedation experience
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program
• Active New York State RN License Verification through NYS Department of Education (NYSED)
• AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
• AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal conditions and respond to changes promptly
• Assist with labor, delivery procedures, and post-delivery care
• Administer medications and IV therapies safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on care plans and newborn care
