About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to mothers and newborns in a fast-paced hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, the ability to manage high-acuity patients, and experience in all aspects of labor and delivery care.
Requirements
- Active RN license (Ohio or Compact) at time of submission
- Minimum 18 months of permanent Labor & Delivery experience (prior to travel)
- Minimum 18 months of recent Labor & Delivery experience in home unit
- Certifications required: BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) NRP
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
- Monitor maternal and fetal conditions throughout labor and delivery
- Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
- Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and newborn care
- Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical records
