About The Position
The Women and Infants Services Department at Banner Ironwood Medical Center focuses on providing family-centered care. This department specializes in a family-centered healing environment, serving low to moderate risk patients with private rooms, labor, delivery, and recovery for vaginal deliveries all in the same LDR room. The unit has approximately 90 deliveries per month, two OR suites for scheduled and unscheduled cesarean sections, and additional operative procedures in the immediate postpartum period. The department features 8 LDR rooms, a 2 bed PACU, a 4 bed triage unit, a 6 bed Special Care Nursery, and 23 Postpartum rooms. As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will work with a team of experienced OB nurses and have the opportunity to utilize a self-scheduling tool for shift and weekend coverage. This is a full-time night shift position with an 18% night shift differential and a $3/hour weekend shift differential.
