About The Position
The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating maternal and newborn patient care in accordance with professional nursing standards and evidence-based practices.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey RN License or Compact License
- BLS (AHA)
- NRP Certification
- Minimum 1+ year of L&D experience
- ASN required (BSN preferred)
Nice To Haves
- ACLS
- Advanced AWHONN or EFM
- 5+ years of L&D experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assess obstetric and postpartum patients
- Assist physicians during labor and delivery
- Provide newborn care and stabilization
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions
- Document care accurately and timely
- Support patient education and family-centered care
- Maintain compliance with clinical and safety standards
