Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery
About The Position
Women Services RN demonstrates clinical competence and efficiency in care of the patient in labor, delivery, postpartum and newborn, as defined in hospital and departmental policies, professional practice, standards/guidelines , and the Law/rules regulating the practice of Nursing (AZ board of nursing website @www.AZBN.gov) Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
Requirements
- Must have an Associate's Degree in nursing. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Must have an active RN License from Arizona or a compact license.
- Must have BLS or obtain within 30 days of hire.
- Must have ACLS or obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Must have NRP at time of hire.
- Must obtain Basic Fetal Monitoring within 30 days of hire.
- Must obtain NIH Stroke Scale within 90 days of hire.
