The level III Women’s Center at Banner Desert Medical Center consists of a Labor & Delivery, High Risk Antepartum, OB Triage, OB OR’s & Postpartum Mother-Baby department that delivers professional and compassionate care to the mother’s & babies any gestation birth until discharge. Our highly skilled team includes experienced bedside registered nurses, licensed nursing assistants, scrub techs’ and IBCLC certified lactation consultants that care for the physical and emotional needs of delivering mothers and babies. POSITION SUMMARY This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development.
