About The Position

The Registered Nurse in L & D Women’s Services provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. This position reports to the Director or Manager of the Department.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BCLS certification required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• PALS certification preferred.
• NRP certification preferred.
• Handle with Care certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to patients using the nursing process.
• Serve a diverse patient population including Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, and Older Adult.
• Access and manage Protected Health Information including demographic, clinical, insurance, financial, and complete medical records.
