Position Summary: The Registered Nurse for IV Therapy performs primary functions in assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients receiving any form of IV Therapy. Patients served include the days-old infant to and including the elderly. Is responsible for meeting established standards of Nursing Practice and for managing supplies & equipment in the delivery of IV Therapy. Is responsible for development and promoting collaborative & collegial relationships with physicians & intra-hospital personnel as they relate to the care of the patient receiving Intravenous Therapy.
