Registered Nurse RN Interventional Radiology Overnight Oncall
About The Position
This is a dedicated overnight, on-call position in the Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology departments at SFMC. Mission Partners will be available during their scheduled shift and will report to work as on-call needs arise. Mission Partners will be guaranteed a minimum of 36 hours per week of pay, regardless if working less hours. Seeking candidates who are flexible with an on-call only work schedule. POSITION SUMMARY: The Registered Nurse Interventional Radiology protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure; collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum. Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains professional disposition at all times. Will be scheduled to work on call shifts equivalent to FTE. Same rate of pay applies for scheduled on call hours and hours worked.
Requirements
- Current State license as a Registered Nurse required.
- BLS required
- PALS and ACLS required within one year of hire.
- 6 months' experience as Registered Nurse
- Requires after-hours call and back-up call
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
