About The Position

Frye Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Intermediate Medical Care Unit. This is a full-time position with night shifts, requiring three 12-hour shifts. The unit consists of 12 beds and is open to new graduates. As an RN, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to patients, ensuring their well-being and contributing to the overall mission of making communities healthier. Your experience and dedication will be vital in this role, where you will perform patient assessments, initiate nursing interventions, and maintain accurate documentation.

Requirements

• Current state RN license
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire
• One year of experience preferred

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
