About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU to join a fast-paced critical care team. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to manage critically ill patients while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. This role requires proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation, advanced critical care interventions, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team.

Requirements

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License (must be in hand)
• Minimum 3 years of current ICU experience
• Experience with EPIC EMR charting system
• BLS – Basic Life Support
• ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
• Perform detailed patient assessments and continuous monitoring of patient conditions.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and specialized treatments according to physician orders and ICU protocols.
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient status.
• Operate and monitor life-support and other critical care equipment.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation using EPIC electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Float to other clinical units within the scope of practice when required.
• Follow all hospital policies, patient safety standards, and infection control procedures.
