More about our team Join a Small Unit with a Variety of Patients! Our ICU unit is comprised of 16 beds including CVICU, MICU, Surgical, Neuro and Trauma (10-11 beds for CV/ICU Patients) with an open-heart program and STEMI receiving center. Manageable Ratios: Work in a 16-bed mixed unit with 1:1 or 1:2 ratios, supported by MultiCare techs and resource nurses. Expert Support: On-site Intensivists during the day and specialized Tele-ICU support at night.

Requirements

  • Applicants should have a current Arizona or Compact State RN license
  • Possess an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • TNCC required with 6 months of hire

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year+ of ICU experience preferred
  • Certifications: ACLS, PALS, CCRN and Handle with Care preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage care of ICU level patients including all critical care medications, ventilators, invasive monitoring devices, bedside procedures, rapid response and code team response, trauma RED response, and all other critical care needs.
  • Works professionally in collaboration with other departments such as respiratory therapy, cardiac cath lab, operating room, emergency department and all other therapies (PT, OT, ST).
  • Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
  • Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
