Aurora Behavioral Health System, Arizona's largest free‑standing psychiatric hospital system, is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intake Department on the Night Shift . This role requires strong clinical judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced behavioral health setting.

Requirements

• ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program
• Active Arizona RN license (required)
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Eligible for an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Active RN License (Required)

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments for incoming patients
• Initiate and document individualized care plans
• Provide professional nursing care in alignment with hospital policies and standards
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery expectations
• Delegate tasks and supervise support staff
• Collaborate with physicians, intake clinicians, and behavioral health teams to ensure high-quality care
