About The Position

Inpatient Rehabilitation is a 16 bed CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) Accredited Unit located at High Point Medical Center that provides high quality interdisciplinary care to patients requiring post-acute medical and rehabilitation services on an inpatient basis. This unit involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, therapists and support staff to provide intense rehabilitation services to patients. Patient population includes patients who have experienced a stroke, traumatic and non-traumatic brain injury, major multiple trauma, amputation or other life changing events. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Greater than 1 year of RN experience (RNs with less than 1 year of RN experience: Please apply to postings that have "New Graduate RN" in the title.)
