Registered Nurse (RN) - Inpatient Rehab DAY

About the position

UF Rehabilitation Hospital, a joint venture with Select Medical & Hospital located in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide advanced treatment and comprehensive care for individuals facing medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges due to brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas. The position requires working hours from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, with a pay range of $37.90 to $51.00 per hour based on experience. Responsibilities

• Partner with a Nursing Assistant to handle a manageable case load.
• Receive admissions and/or transfers.
• Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
• Document timely and accurately using EPIC.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families.

Requirements

• Valid State RN License is required.
• BLS is required at hire.

Nice-to-haves

• BSN or enrollment in a BSN program is preferred.
• Clinical experience is preferred.
