About The Position

Inpatient float is NEW to Aurora Medical Center - Manitowoc County!!!! Being a part of the float team allows you to experience the best of every department and utilize your skills where they are needed most. This unique role offers: Variety: Float between Med/Surg, Stepdown, Same Day Surgery, and assist in the Emergency Department supporting boarder patients. Growth: Expand your clinical skills across multiple specialties. Impact: Deliver exceptional care where it’s needed most. Increased wage: Float premium applies after orientation

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

  • Inpatient RN experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process
  • Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
