About The Position
Braselton's Medical Intermediate Care (IMC) and Progressive Cardiac Care (PCCU) is Growing! Soon to be 24-bed unit with all private rooms. As a Medical IMC and PCCU unit, care is provided for a variety of intermediate care medical patients and progressive cardiac care patients including but not limited to: General Medical Patients requiring more frequent monitoring, Patients requiring more frequent monitoring, which may include advanced respiratory support such as BiPap, HiFlo Oxygen, and Vapotherm, Endocrine Emergencies requiring more frequent monitoring, Gastroenterology requiring more frequent monitoring, Alcohol withdrawal with CIWA score <26, Chest Pain, Acute Coronary Syndrome, Stable Acute Myocardial Infarction, Heart Failure, Dysrhythmias, Patients requiring administration of specific cardiac drugs. Services provided include: Central Venous Pressure (CVP) Monitoring, Removal of arterial and venous sheaths, Chest tube care and management, Arterial site management, Epidural/PCA management, Tracheostomy care, Cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring.
