About The Position

Corona Regional Medical Center, established in 1965 as Corona Community Hospital and later merged in 1992, is a 238-bed community hospital network. It comprises a 160-bed acute care hospital and a 78-bed rehabilitation campus, is certified by The Joint Commission, and employs over 1,250 healthcare workers with a medical staff of approximately 347 physicians across more than 40 specialties. This Registered Nurse (RN) position in the ICU reports to the Director of Critical Care Services. The role involves assuming accountability for all aspects of adult and geriatric patient care, utilizing the Nursing Process, and adhering to the guidelines of the State of California Nurse Practice Act. The RN is also accountable for maintaining standards of nursing practice and optimal patient outcomes in the ICU, and is responsible for supervising all categories of nursing personnel. Requirements

  • Current California RN license required.
  • Current BLS (CPR) required through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

  • Assume accountability of all aspects of adult and geriatric patient care utilizing the Nursing Process and within the guidelines of the State of California Nurse Practice Act.
  • Maintain standards of nursing practice and optimal patient outcomes in the ICU.
  • Supervise all categories of nursing personnel.
