Get to Know Your Team:
Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of 1+ years’ experience as an RN in a hospital PACU or Critical Care Unit.
• Current valid NJ State professional Registered Nurse license.
• ACLS (obtainable within the first three months of employment).
• PALS (obtainable within the first three months of employment).
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Successful completion of a Basic Arrhythmia Training
• Ability to initiate IV therapy, blood specimen collection, point of care testing, perform EKG, phlebotomy (skills obtainable within the first three months of employment)
• Ability to manage a patient’s airway including us of mechanical ventilation.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Experience with Epic.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse—Intensive Care Unit is responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
