Requirements

• A graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Must possess a current Oklahoma License as a Registered Nurse.
• Must obtain and maintain a current certification in CPR.
• The ICU Staff RN must maintain ACLS. New graduate nurses have up to six months to obtain their ACLS. Experienced new hires have 90 days to obtain ACLS.
• NIHSS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• At least one year of experience as Registered Nurse. Will consider prior LPN experience where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process of assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide care to assigned patients.
• Identify and prioritize needs, formulate the plan of care, prioritize/manage/delegate interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
