About The Position

This department also provide cares to OB patients with conditions such as hypertensive crisis, pulmonary hypertension and metabolic exacerbations. This unit provides great opportunities and strong base to nurses interested in advancing their careers to acute care or critical care NPs. The unit manager and the Nursing Professional Development Generalist in the department are experienced Critical Care RNs making this unit a perfect one to grow and develop your nursing practice guided by experts in the field. Requirements

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required: Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices, and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
Education Required: Completion of an accredited or approved program in Nursing.

Responsibilities

Uses the nursing process to assess the needs of the patient, plan and implement individualized interventions and evaluate the effectiveness of the plan of care.
