About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU position is a full-time, day role located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA. This hospital has a rich history dating back to 1965 and has evolved to meet the needs of a growing community. It is a 238-bed community hospital network that includes a 160-bed acute care hospital and a 78-bed rehabilitation campus. The RN will report to the Director of Critical Care Services and will be responsible for all aspects of adult and geriatric patient care, adhering to the Nursing Process and the State of California Nurse Practice Act. The RN will maintain nursing practice standards and ensure optimal patient outcomes in the ICU while supervising all categories of nursing personnel.

Requirements

• Current California RN license required.
• Current BLS (CPR) certification required through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Assume accountability for all aspects of adult and geriatric patient care in the ICU.
• Utilize the Nursing Process within the guidelines of the State of California Nurse Practice Act.
• Maintain standards of nursing practice and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Supervise all categories of nursing personnel.
