About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support a primarily ICU assignment with a CVICU focus . This role requires strong critical care expertise and the ability to float to CVICU and, when operationally necessary due to low census, Med/Surg Tele units . CVICU experience is required.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – Required
  • Prior Critical Care / ICU experience – Required
  • CVICU experience – Required
  • Successful completion of: CCHC Pharmacology Exam CCHC Basic Arrhythmia Exam
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Nice To Haves

  • BSN – Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • CCRN – Critical Care Registered Nurse Certification
  • TCAR – Trauma Care After Resuscitation Certification
  • Completion of an approved De-escalation Certification Course
  • Demonstrated proficiency in: Hemodynamic monitoring Ventilator management Intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive patient care utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation)
  • Administer medications and closely monitor patient responses
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient documentation
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and communicate patient care plans
  • Provide patient and family education throughout hospitalization and discharge planning
  • Serve as a charge nurse when assigned and act as a clinical resource for staff
  • Demonstrate proficiency with computerized nursing informatics systems
  • Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and performance initiatives
  • Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and blood/body fluid precautions
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and represent the organization professionally
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and competency maintenance
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by nursing leadership
