Requirements

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (required)
• License: Active RN license in Massachusetts (required)
• Certifications: BLS (required) ACLS (required within 90 days for experienced RNs, 6 months for new grads)
• Experience: Previous CCU/ICU or step-down experience highly preferred
• Skills: Strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and adaptability

Nice To Haves

• CCRN preferred
• Medical-surgical background considered with strong interest in critical care

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, age-appropriate care to critically ill patients
• Monitor complex conditions and respond swiftly to changes
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other specialists
• Educate and support patients and families through difficult transitions
• Document care plans, interventions, and patient progress accurately
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement and safety initiatives
