About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) position at Interim HealthCare focuses on providing home healthcare services in Anne Arundel and Prince George's counties in Maryland. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN license in Maryland.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in home care or home healthcare.
• Knowledge of Maryland's COMAR is a plus.
• CPR certification required.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations is essential.
• Demonstrated clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills, and effective communication.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in home healthcare settings.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the home care admissions process for new patients and create individualized care plans.
• Provide training and feedback to CNAs during supervisory visits.
• Examine patients, conduct assessments, and document their conditions.
• Review, interpret, transcribe, and carry out physician orders for patients.
• Administer medication, operate medical equipment, and maintain a safe environment.
