Registered Nurse RN - Heart Failure/Cardiac Unit
About The Position
Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Delivers excellent nursing care through evaluations, planning, implementation, and documentation while serving a diverse patient population with complex concerns. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Unit Overview: N2W, Heart Failure & Cardiac Unit- 31 bed unit specializing in Heart Failure, peri-interventional cardiology care, and medical telemetry. The energetic and dynamic nursing team provides high quality, patient centered care for those who do not require critical care nursing, but who have complex cardiovascular conditions. These patients commonly have the diagnoses of CHF, ACS, AMI, dysrhythmia, or syncope in addition to other concomitant medical diagnoses
Requirements
- Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Relevant Experience
- PA Registered Nurse Temporary Practice Permit or Registered Nurse License
- Excellent Communications Skills
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills
