Registered Nurse (RN) General Surgery/OR

Sentara CarePlex Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for the General Surgery Operating Room. As a Registered Nurse with Sentara, you can excel in your career. This position's primary duties include assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, giving medications, talking with family members, and being responsible for the overall care of your patients. Responsibilities

• Assessing and admitting patients
• Conducting rounding checks
• Administering medications

Requirements

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire
• RN-Associate's Degree, RN-Bachelor's Degree, RN-Diploma, or RN-Master's Degree

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in General Surgery or Operating Room settings
• Leadership experience or interest in advancement
