Requirements

• Current RN License in good standing with state licensing board.
• BSN required OR enrollment and completion of BSN within 5 years.
• Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg experience in an acute care setting.
• BLS certification (ACLS within 3 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
• Responsible for providing patient-focused nursing care to patients with various surgical needs, including Laparoscopic Cholecystectomies, Tracheostomies, kidney and liver transplants, and trauma patients.
