Job Summary As a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Hospice General Inpatient (GIP Unit ) at Aegis Healthcare, you will play a key role in helping us enrich the lives of the people we serve. In this role, you will verify the plan of care and provide necessary nursing care treatment or procedure according to the physician's orders. Your responsibilities include identifying patient pain or discomfort, assisting with activities of daily living, educating patients and caregivers, administering and managing medications, and accurately documenting clinical visit notes. You will also communicate effectively with supervisory RNs or physicians regarding patient conditions and participate in team meetings. Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Ability to utilize full range of movement to transfer patients
- Ability to work independently, be self-directed, and flexible.
- High level of confidentiality due to the sensitivity of materials and information.
- Effective verbal & written communication & time management skills
- Valid Driver's License (clean record) & reliable transportation.
- Proof of current auto insurance & registration
- Valid AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card (we can help)
- Current CPR Certification (we can help) & Negative TB Test (we can test)

- Home Health / Hospice experience preferred
