About The Position
Rochester West Health Services is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a full-time basis during the 1st shift. Our facility is part of the largest post-acute care provider in the Upper Midwest, with a network of 70 skilled nursing and assisted living centers across Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, and North Dakota. In this role, the RN will be responsible for overseeing a group of residents or patients during their shift, ensuring that nursing care is delivered through thorough assessment, implementation, and evaluation of care plans. The RN will adhere to established standards of care, manage the environment to ensure patient safety, and supervise the performance of nursing assistants and helpers. Compliance with North Shore's policies and procedures, as well as the State Nurse Practice Act and applicable JCAHO standards, is essential. The ideal candidate will possess a valid RN license in the state, maintain current CPR certification, and demonstrate the ability to effectively use necessary medical supplies and equipment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required, along with basic computer knowledge and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in post-acute care is preferred but not mandatory.
