About The Position

Registered Nurse (RN) Float Pool Select Medical Float Pool: Travel to 6 locations within Central PA. In this role, the "In-House" Registered Nurse (RN) will travel among three Critical Illness Recovery Hospitals and three Inpatient Rehab Hospitals within Central PA based on Market Float Assignment and Staffing Guidelines. 6 week rotations at one of our six Central PA hospitals Full-Time, 12 Hour Shifts Days & Nights Available Up to $15,000 Sign on bonus available Pay range is dependent on years of experience: $50-$60 hourly + shift differentials! Requirements

  • Valid State Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • BLS is required at hire.
  • ACLS is required within 6 months of hire

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years clinical experience; at least 1 year experience acute care or LTAC
  • Clinical Experience: Med/surg, Telemetry, Step down, PCU, Trauma, Acute Rehab

Responsibilities

  • Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit
  • Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
  • Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems
  • Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
  • Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
  • Competence in Rapid Response and code events
  • Instruct and counsel patients/families
  • Performs other duties as assigned
