Our Float Pool Registered Nurses (RNs) are crucial for:
Adaptability: Floating RNs work in multiple areas of the hospital, covering shifts and providing care wherever there is a need, whether in medical-surgical units, emergency departments, or specialized care areas.
Flexibility: This role requires the ability to adapt quickly to different patient populations and clinical settings, ensuring seamless care and support across the hospital.
Support: Float pool RNs help manage patient care needs during peak times, staff shortages, or special circumstances, contributing to overall operational efficiency and high-quality patient outcomes.
Skill Variety: Exposure to diverse clinical environments allows float pool RNs to enhance their skills and experience in various specialties, making them valuable assets to the entire healthcare team.
Units RNs will Float to: Medical Unit, Med/Surg Unit, IMC/ICU, Emergency Department.

Requirements

• BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing.
• Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year.

Responsibilities

• Lead Patient Care: Organize and deliver comprehensive care by managing all phases of the patient care process, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Guide and Delegate: Act as a team leader by delegating care responsibilities to nursing staff based on their licensure, training, and role specifications.
