Work location: Texas Health Dallas - 8200 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, TX 75231 Work hours: Full Time, 36 hours weekly, Nights 7pm-7am; weekend and holiday requirements Training: Must be able to attend orientation and training at the corporate office in Arlington 8am-5pm during the first 1-5 days of hire This position will float to the Rapid Response Team Float Pool Department Highlights: · Work with a multi-disciplinary team · Work with ill patients to provide life-saving care · The opportunity to work with a diverse patient population · Self-Scheduling that helps with work life balance · Opportunities for educational and career growth Here’s What You Need Nursing Diploma in Nursing required or Associate’s degree in Nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred 1 year experience as registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required 2-4 years of ICU experience strongly preferred Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire and BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required and maintained quarterly ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

  • Nursing Diploma in Nursing required or
  • Associate’s degree in Nursing required or
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
  • 1 year experience as registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
  • Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire and
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required and maintained quarterly
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire
  • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • 2-4 years of ICU experience strongly preferred
