Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN nursing program.
  • Must possess a current Oklahoma licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • At least one year of experience as an RN.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
  • Hospital bedside experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in critical care.

Responsibilities

  • The Registered Nurse is primarily responsible for using the nursing process of assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide care to assigned patients.
  • Responsible and accountable for identifying and prioritizing needs, formulating the plan of care, prioritizing/managing/delegating interventions and collaborating with the physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
  • The RN must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the needs of the patients served in each of the critical care units including ICU, ED, ICS, SDU and Cath Lab (if qualified).
  • He/she is expected to abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act as well as other regulatory and accrediting bodies.
