About The Position

The position involves assessing, prescribing, delegating, coordinating, and evaluating the nursing care provided. The RN ensures the provision of quality care for selected groups of patients through the utilization of the nursing process, established standards of care, policies, and procedures. Note that various departments may have additional qualifications/certifications and responsibilities associated with their specific area. Copies of department-specific requirements may be obtained through your HR representative.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Evidence of continuing education appropriate for skill level and area of practice.
• Current RN license in the State of Oregon.
• ACLS, BLS, and NRP certification required.
• L & D Experience Required.

Nice To Haves

• BSN.
• Previous Clinical Experience.
• Certifications specific to areas of clinical specialty may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the written Nursing Care Plan.
• Acts as the patient advocate.
• Responsible for the direction and supervision of any personnel assigned to RN.
• Reports to the Unit Nurse Manager or House Supervisor.
