The position also requires educating patients on discharge instructions, medication management, and follow-up care, while maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Collaboration with P.A.'s, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members is necessary, along with ensuring compliance with infection control and safety protocols. The candidate must handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently and assist in transferring patients to a higher level of care at NLH Emergency Department.
