Get to Know Your Team: Hillcrest Hospital Pryor is a 48-bed acute care hospital that provides a range of health care services to the community, including emergency services, urology, ENT, gastroenterology, cardiology, orthopedics, general surgery and wound care. Accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting care activities in accordance with HHP standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care. Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in the unit. Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status, interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs. Plan for the provision of patient care including the development, modification and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHP standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care as described in the Patient Care policies and procedures. Expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Current Oklahoma RN license
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
  • ACLS - Advanced Life Support (within 30 days of hire)
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (within 30 days of hire)
  • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (within 6 months of hire)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
