Job Summary: This is an 8-week contract position at a small rural hospital with a low patient to staff ratio. The RN will primarily work in the emergency room but may be required to float into the Med/Surg unit as needed. As a Registered Nurse, you are responsible for the rapid assessment and treatment of patients with sudden illnesses or injuries. This requires a strong sense of critical thinking and quick responses under pressure.
Requirements
- At least 2 years ED experience
- Active RN license with the State of Louisiana
- Active BLS Certification
- Active ACLS Certification
- Current TB Skin Test, Quantiferon Results, or Chest X-Ray
- Proof of Flu vaccine
