About The Position
UC Health is hiring a Full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the endoscopy unit for the day shift at West Chester. The Endoscopy Unit is a robust and popular Endoscopy Unit that serves both inpatient and outpatient populations. Procedures performed include, but not limited to, EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, Bronchoscopy, and Endoscopic Ultrasounds. The Registered Nurse (RN) is an individual who holds a current state license to practice nursing. The practice of nursing requires specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills to provide care to groups and individuals. The RN utilizes knowledge derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social and nursing sciences to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care. The care is culturally based and age specific. West Chester Hospital provides its patients with access to the region’s largest group of specialized physicians and medical providers. West Chester Hospital provides a Level III Trauma Center that delivers superior emergency and critical care, and a certified Primary Stroke Center that provides access to the subspecialty care at the UC Gardner Neuroscience Institute. The Endoscopy unit gives hands on procedural experience, ability to grow and expand nursing skills and receive additional surgical experience. The team has developed a strong sense of camaraderie and is dedicated to providing each other with encouragement and support.
