Requirements
- Baccalaureate in Nursing (BSN) is required from an accredited college or university.
- Meets annual contact hour requirements as determined by the Professional Development Program.
- 1 years of RN experience required.
- Currently licensed as a Professional Registered Nurse in NY State.
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association
- Physically able to perform CPR, lift 20 lbs of equipment, document, and stand/walk for extended periods of time.
- Wear protective gear as appropriate for assigned area including, but not limited to, N95 and isolation garments.
- Participate in care of those with potentially infectious and communicable disease.
- Must be able to Travel to various locations across Long Island to administer vaccine and respond to exposures (5% travel).
- Triages basic employee injuries and escalates care if needed.
- Observes HIPAA rules and regulations and protects PII.
- Must have excellent customer service, leadership, and delegation skill.
- Works with a multi-disciplinary team across all of Catholic Health.
- Computer skills are essential with emphasis on Microsoft excel, word, and the ability to function in EMR systems.
- Must be a Team Player who is flexible in the work environment and able to multitask and work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Familiar with Excel, Word, Outlook
- Has good EMR aptitude, will need to learn Agility

- Monitoring Compliance for OSHA and Joint Commission
- Blood Draws, IM, SQ, intradermal injections, First Aid injuries, COVID/Flu testing, medical documentation, furloughs, work clearance, administrative compliance, data entry, vaccination scheduling, fit testing, organization, supply ordering
