About The Position

Beverly Hospital is located in Beverly, MA, 35 miles northeast of Boston, offering a small-town charm with big-city amenities. Its Emergency Department is a Level III Trauma Center, Gold Stroke Certified, and an Emergent Percutaneous Cardiac Intervention Center, serving as the primary entry point for these services. The department is staffed 24/7 with Emergency Medicine Board Certified Physicians and Mid-Level Clinicians, and a Children’s Hospital Emergency Physician during prime hours. It features 33 private exam rooms across three specialized zones, including 2 major trauma rooms, 6 negative pressure rooms, pediatric rooms, fast-track, and a 10-bed secured behavioral health area. The department handles various emergencies such as cardiac, pediatric, OBGYN, orthopedic, and respiratory. Security is stationed in the Emergency Department waiting area. A 3-room Triage area is staffed 24/7 by a nurse and a Medical Provider during prime hours, used for rapid interventions, vertical flow/one-touch patients, and rapid medical screenings. Triage nurses assign acuity levels based on ESI. Ancillary staff include ED Technicians, Administrative Associates, Mental Health Technicians, and Security. The department also supports Behavioral Health emergencies with BILH Crisis Screeners and Recovery Coach Supports. Requirements

• MA RN license
• (AHA)BLS (can be obtained after hire)
• (AHA)ACLS (can be obtained after hire)
• PALS (can be obtained after hire)
• Vaccination against influenza (flu)

Nice To Haves

• Emergency Nursing experience strongly preferred
• TNCC preferred (can be obtained after hire)
• Telemetry experience preferred
• BSN preferred
