Bourbon Community Hospital, a 58-bed acute care facility, is proud to offer our community the latest in technology in a quiet hometown atmosphere. Our patients are our friends, our neighbors, and our family. We provide the highest quality of care to our patients in over 20 specialty areas. Our 9 bed Emergency Department at Bourbon Community is open 24 hours a day. On average, we see 25-30 patients daily. Our ED RN’s provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1- 2 years minimum Emergency RN experience required; 2- 4 years critical care experience preferred.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• Current RN license in state of practice
• BCLS required
• ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 2- 4 years critical care experience preferred.
• ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Our ED RN’s provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
