Requirements

• Applicants should have a current AZ RN license and possess an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing school.
• BCLS required

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.
• ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in the Emergency Department using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
• Develops nursing care plan in coordination with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff as necessary.
• Communicates changes in patient’s clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate.
• Participates in discharges planning process.
