Registered Nurse – Emergency Position Summary Provides direct patient care in the Emergency Department using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing required
  • Current RN license in state of practice
  • BCLS required
  • Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present for all employees.
  • Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements.
  • Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.
