Hartford ED is equipped to care for patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors. Also offers resources like Tele-Stroke and Tele-Psych services. With 24/7 physician coverage and dedicated PA support during peak hours, our department is committed to delivering exceptional patient care. We offer flexible scheduling in six-week blocks, fair vacation approvals, and free parking just steps from the unit. About This Location: Aurora Medical Center Washington County is a 71-bed community-focused hospital located in Hartford, Wisconsin, proudly serving local and surrounding communities for over a century. Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or within 6 months.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or within 6 months.
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) issued by the Emergency Nurses Association or within 12 months.
Nice To Haves
- RN ED experience is preferred; will consider candidates with previous RN experience who have a passion for the ED.
Responsibilities
- As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
