About The Position

Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department - $15,000 Sign-On Bonus (Night Shift, 0.6 FTE) Location: Anacortes, WA Schedule: 0.6 FTE / 24 hours per week | Night Shift Salary Range: $36.90 – $69.95 per hour 💰 $15,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible new hires! Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current WA State RN License
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Experienced ED RNs: ENPC or PALS within 60 days; TNCC completed once in career
  • New-to-ED RNs: PALS within 60 days; ENPC within 90 days; TNCC within 6 months
  • Proven ability to stay composed and decisive in high-acuity environments

Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
  • Perform rapid assessment and triage to prioritize life-threatening, urgent, and non-emergent cases
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
  • Collaborate with physicians, EMS, and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care
  • Document assessments and interventions in compliance with standards of care
  • Complete 8 hours of stroke-related education annually
